Wizards Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus Batavia
|
The Spellborough Wizards downed the Batavia Muckdogs, 8-5, at Wrigley Field. George Springer led the way, going 2-for-4 for Spellborough. Losses have been few and far between for the Muckdogs so far this season. Their record drops to 6-3.
Springer had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Wizards went on to win.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Springer. "And not try to do too much."
