Bull Artists Solve Wizards, 6-3

The Durham Bull Artists topped the Spellborough Wizards, 6-3, in Fantasy Baseball League of Doom action at Mage Tower Field. The player of the game was Durham pitcher Alex Reyes. Reyes got the win, improving to 4-7. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 8.2 innings. Reyes allowed 3 earned runs. Roman Mendez converted his 14th save in 15 tries.
The Bull Artists got a big at-bat from shortstop Dansby Swanson. For the game, Swanson was 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 63rd hit of the season gave Durham a 4-2 lead.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Reyes told reporters after the game.
At 33-40, the Bull Artists find themselves in 7th place in the Ellering League Hawk Division.
