Muckdogs Lose to Hornets, 4-3
|
The Lynchburg Hornets picked up a win at Hornets Nest, knocking off the Batavia Muckdogs, 4-3. Starting pitcher Matt Krook played a key role in the triumph. Lynchburg has now won 4 games in a row.
Dalton Kelly, who is on pace for 105 RBI this season, aided the Lynchburg cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We did a lot of things right," said Krook.
