The Deathland Weresloths got an exceptional performance from starter Chris Sale, who silenced the Pittsburgh offense en route to a 18-0 shutout win in Game 2 of the Divisional Round today. The Alleghenys could never get a bead on the left-handed Sale, who threw 9 innings of shutout ball to earn player of the game honors. The Weresloths now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Sale pitched a complete game for Deathland. The left-hander was charged with no runs on 5 hits. He struck out 6 during his 115-pitch performance.

"I like easy wins," Sale told the Deathland Daily. "And easy wins in the playoffs are even better."

The next game is set to be played Tuesday at Turner Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Aaron Slegers for the Pittsburgh Alleghenys and Matt Wisler for the the Deathland Weresloths.
