Weresloths Get Past Alleghenys 5-2 to Open DR
The Deathland Weresloths started the Divisional Round in style today, winning on the road against the Pittsburgh Alleghenys at PNC Park by a score of 5-2 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Weresloths right-hander Jack Conlon was named player of the game after he threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs.

Rafael Devers made it 3-2 in favor of Deathland when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with no one out in the top of the eighth. The Weresloths went on to win.

"It feels good to get this one," Devers told the Deathland Daily.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at PNC Park. Slated to start are Chris Sale for the Deathland Weresloths and Jerad Eickhoff for the the Pittsburgh Alleghenys.
