Pawtucket used a superb performance from starting pitcher Grayson Garvin to down the Berkeley Batterologists, 3-1. Garvin, the winner, moves to 6-4. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks. The Red Sox have an impressive 37-22 record.

The Red Sox got a big at-bat from left fielder Danry Vasquez. For the game, Vasquez was 1-4. In the top of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 53rd hit of the season gave Pawtucket a 2-1 lead.
