Boomers Win in Glorious Fashion
New Vegas designated hitter Tim Walter played a vital role in his team's 4-3 triumph over Berkeley. He was 4-7 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for New Vegas. New Vegas reliever Dylan Cyphert was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Joe O'Donnell. With the loss, Berkeley falls to 1-5.

Walter had a game-changing single in the bottom of the 16th. On a 1-0 fastball from Jose Cisnero, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Boomers a 4-3 lead. It was the 8th hit of the year for Walter.

"This place was electric at the end," Walter said.
