Mejia Helps Donkey Riders Beat Illuminati
A 6-RBI performance from catcher Francisco Mejia led the Canadien Donkey Riders to a 8-6 win over the Atlantic City Illuminati. Canadien reliever Huston Street got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Zach Britton was tagged with the loss. Canadien is now 24-35, while Atlantic City is 21-39.

Mejia had a game-changing single in the top of the seventh. On a 1-1 sinker from Zach Britton, he banged a 2-run single to right, giving the Donkey Riders a 8-6 lead. It was the 35th hit of the year for Mejia.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Mejia told the Canadien News.
