Wizards Get Close Win Over Batterologists

Mage Tower Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Spellborough Wizards and the Berkeley Batterologists.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Spellborough Wizards and the Berkeley Batterologists, Blake Snell was the difference-maker. The Spellborough left-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. The win was credited to Phil Green in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Jose Valdez took the loss.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Spellborough shortstop Zack Prajzner, facing Max Engelbrekt, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Wizards the 3-2 win.
"This place was rockin'," Snell said.
Spellborough has now won 9 straight, while the Batterologists have lost 3 in a row.
