Sanchez Lifts Alleghenys to 9-2 Win
The Pittsburgh Alleghenys topped the Columbus Legion by the score of 9-2, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Manny Sanchez. Sanchez was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Alleghenys. Eric Hankins got credit for the win, improving to 7-5.
