Donkey Riders Topple Red Sox with Late Rally
With designated hitter Seth Beer leading the charge, the Canadien Donkey Riders defeated the Pawtucket Red Sox, 5-4, at Rogers Centre. Beer, who was drafted in the two round of the 2017 draft, went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. After today's action, Canadien sits at 23-34, while Pawtucket falls to 35-21.

Beer had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Charlie Furbush, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Donkey Riders a 5-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Beer.

"I know we have our doubters," said Pawtucket manager David Larence. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
