Multi-HR Game for Jackson in 8-4 Win
|
Alex Jackson helped his team muscle past the Space City Moon Men, 8-4. In the game, the Deathland right fielder was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Deathland reliever R.J. Alvarez picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Rex Brothers was collared with the loss. Deathland is in 6th place in the Ellering League Hawk Division with a record of 24-26.
Jackson had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Rex Brothers, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Weresloths a 5-4 lead. It was the 56th hit of the year for Jackson.
