Weresloths Bang Out 9-2 Win Versus Space City
|
The Deathland Weresloths and Space City Moon Men completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Deathland Weresloths topped the Space City Moon Men, 9-2, in Fantasy Baseball League of Doom action at Turner Field. The player of the game was Deathland pitcher and New York native Nicholas Storz. The Weresloths' win now puts them at 23-26.
The Weresloths got a big at-bat from left fielder Oscar Taveras. For the game, Taveras was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Deathland a 3-2 lead.
"We came out aggressive," said Weresloths manager Mark Caterinacci. "We came out swinging the bats."
