Batterologists Throttle Weresloths, 8-1

The Berkeley Batterologists racked up a win at Dodger Stadium, bumping off the Deathland Weresloths, 8-1. Tyson Ross, who started for Berkeley, pitched effectively for his team. The Weresloths, now 22-21, have lost 5 in a row.
The Batterologists got a big at-bat from second baseman Gleyber Torres. For the game, Torres went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 40th hit of the season gave Berkeley a 2-1 lead.
"Tyson was throwing strikes, locating well," said Berkeley manager Randy Morgenstein.
