Lynch Delivers Walk-Off Win for Boomers
It was a fun time at Moles Stadium, where the Berkeley Batterologists and New Vegas Boomers tangled.

The New Vegas Boomers eked out a 4-3 win versus the Berkeley Batterologists at Moles Stadium. Nobody did more than designated hitter Tim Walter, who captured player of the game honors. The Boomers, with only their 1st win in 4 games, have not had much to write home about in 2023.

The Boomers got a big at-bat from center fielder Jeff Lynch. For the game, Lynch was 2-6 with a double. In the bottom of the 12th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave New Vegas a 4-3 lead.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Berkeley skipper Randy Morgenstein, "and it cost us."
