Royals Stymie Spellborough, Take 6-1 Win

The exploits of catcher T.J. Collett, who was drafted in the two round of the 2017 draft, helped the Charlotte Royals defeat the Spellborough Wizards, 6-1. Collett went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Charlotte reliever Mike Foltynewicz got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Danny Duffy was tagged with the loss. Charlotte leads the Ellering League Hawk Division by 2˝ games.
Collett had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Royals went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Collett said after the game.
