Wizards Rally to Eke Out Win
The Wizards faced a stiff challenge from Batavia pitcher Cody Poteet, but persevered to claim a win at Mage Tower Field. The final score was 3-2. Poteet went 9 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Wizards are off to a tough start, getting just their 12th win in 30 games.

The Wizards got a big at-bat from second baseman Kolten Wong. For the game, Wong went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 3rd hit of the season gave Spellborough a 3-2 lead.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Spellborough manager Lester Norton.
