Illuminati Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Deathland
|
The Atlantic City Illuminati topped the Deathland Weresloths, 7-5, in Fantasy Baseball League of Doom action at Castel Sant'Angelo. The player of the game was Atlantic City pitcher and Huntington Beach, California native Nick Pratto. The winning pitcher was Pratto, now 4-1. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 5. Getting the save was Craig Kimbrel, his 5th.
The Illuminati got a big at-bat from left fielder Matt McPhearson. For the game, McPhearson was 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 28th hit of the season gave Atlantic City a 1-0 lead.
