The Atlantic City Illuminati beat the Deathland Weresloths, 7-5, at Castel Sant'Angelo. Atlantic City left fielder Shohei Otani earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Losses have been few and far between for the Weresloths so far this season. Their record drops to 15-7.
The Illuminati got a big at-bat from designated hitter Juan Rodríguez. For the game, Rodríguez was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Atlantic City a 7-4 lead.
