Batavia starter Stephen Keller put a stranglehold on the Berkeley offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Muckdogs to a 6-1 win. The Batterologists fall to 10-14 and continue their lackluster start to the 2022 season.

In the bottom of the first inning, first baseman C.J. Cron came through big-time for the Muckdogs. With Batavia leading 1-0, he belted a 2-run home run.

"Stephen's tempo and rhythm were good," said Muckdogs manager Mike Moran. "He was the key to us winning."
