The Charlotte Royals picked up a win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, knocking off the Durham Bull Artists, 5-1. On the mound for Charlotte was left-hander Carlos Rodon, who played a pivotal role in the win. Rodon got the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed 9 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings.
