Boomers Run Win Streak to 6

The Atlantic City Illuminati and New Vegas Boomers provided some drama at Moles Stadium.
New Vegas Boomers starter Raisel Iglesias turned in a sterling performance against the Atlantic City Illuminati, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. The winning pitcher was Iglesias, now 2-0. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5.
The Boomers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Cord Sandberg. For the game, Sandberg was 1 for 3. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 12th hit of the season gave New Vegas a 3-2 lead.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said New Vegas manager .
The Illuminati fall to 7-10 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2023 season.
