Getting a good performance from catcher Victor Caratini, the Atlantic City Illuminati defeated the Spellborough Wizards, 5-3. Caratini was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. Caratini had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Kevin Quackenbush, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Illuminati a 4-3 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Caratini.
