Weresloths Lose to Bull Artists, 4-1
|
The Durham Bull Artists picked up a win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, knocking off the Deathland Weresloths, 4-1. On the mound for Durham was left-hander Kolby Allard, who played a pivotal role in the win. Joe Ortiz notched his 6th save in 6 chances. Durham is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Raimel Tapia hit a run-scoring triple off Sonny Gray in the bottom of the first, which put the Bull Artists in front, 1-0. Tapia had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
"Kolby's tempo and rhythm were good," said Bull Artists manager Kevin Feasel. "He was the key to us winning."
