Bodison Helps Royals Run Win Streak to 3
|
It was a fun time at Chase Field, where the Neptune Fighting Penguins and Charlotte Royals tangled.
Getting a good performance from third baseman Grant Bodison, the Charlotte Royals defeated the Neptune Fighting Penguins, 10-1. Bodison went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Royals. Carlos Rodon got the win, improving to 15-8. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 run, while striking out 9 and walking 1.
Bodison had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Royals went on to win.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Bodison.
Charlotte is now riding a 3-game win streak.
